PROCESS

Let’s get your garden plans off the ground.
Designing a natural fit for your home follows a meticulous process. We keep it open and flexible, and we encourage collaboration according to your level of comfort.
Get to know the five stages of working with Hortus—
1
Discovery Session
We begin by understanding your vision for the perfect outdoor space—what you would like to see and how you intend to use it. Through a series of questions and follow-up briefings, we’ll be able to recommend a package and provide you a quote.
2
Schematic Stage
Naturally, we have to get a feel for your space. We'll survey the site and its environment, then create an initial plan that considers usability, movement, visual experience, and impact on nature. This is also where we decide on the overall theme and share inspirations.
3
Conceptual Stage
Using perspectives and sketches, we present a more vivid and visual proposal. You'll be able to see how different elements harmoniously come together, giving you a glimpse of the future beauty that awaits
4
Design Development
Here, we dive into finer and more technical details. From plant selection and material specifications to structural considerations, our creative concepts are translated and refined into detailed construction drawings.
5
Ready to Build
With the plans finalized, we can now start building the outdoor landscape of your dreams. We'll see through the construction work—alongside our most capable partners and suppliers—until completion and to your satisfaction.
