Tropical Fusion
Embracing a lush tropical aesthetic, this residence draws inspiration from the serene beauty of tropical forests. The design aims to mirror the feel of the client's current home garden, emphasizing the preservation and relocation of existing key plants such as trees, aroids, and the iconic kawa. The perimeter and entrance of the residence are softened with dense planting featuring a mix of broadleaf feature plants, Kalachuchi trees, and buffer trees to create privacy and a natural atmosphere.

Additionally, the landscape includes functional elements like an outdoor shower and a stone bench set amidst raised Peruvian ferns and edible plantings, promoting both aesthetics and utility. The design ensures that the garden not only connects the residents with nature but also offers practical gardening features such as fruit-bearing trees, a frog grass lawn, and piedra tsina step pads, all designed to provide a balance between beauty and ease of maintenance.
